Domestic version of joby evtol configuration design with long endurance evtol released
On November 6th, during the Xiaopeng AI Technology Day event, the configuration design video of Xiaopeng Huitian's full tilt rotor flying car X5 (internal code) was released. It is an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) product with high speed and long range characteristics, aimed at solving air traffic problems in typical scenarios. Adopting a fully tilt rotor configuration, it balances flexible takeoff and landing with speed requirements in a vertical takeoff and landing mode: the rotor is in a vertical position, allowing the flying car to take off, land, and hover like a helicopter; High speed cruise mode: The rotor tilts forward to a horizontal position, allowing the flying car to cruise at high speeds like a fixed wing aircraft;
6-seater intelligent flight cabin, creating a cloud based luxurious experience. In terms of cabin design, the spacious and comfortable cabin space, combined with advanced intelligent systems, provides users with an air luxury experience beyond expectations. High speed and long range, easily achieving cross city commuting flight. The X5 (internal code) is designed with a maximum speed of 360 kilometers per hour and a range of no less than 500 kilometers. From the Pearl River New Town in Guangzhou to Futian CBD in Shenzhen, it takes about 2 hours to drive on the ground, while it only takes about 20 minutes to travel straight through the air, which makes it easy to commute across the city.
